The Lincolnville Preservation & Historical Society in partnership with The International African American Museum (IAAM) is excited to invite families who lived in Lincolnville between 1832 and 1970 for an exciting opportunity on:

If your family’s roots run deep in Lincolnville or your ancestors helped shape our town’s journey, your voice belongs in the historical records of the ages. Deposit your family’s history, memories, and legacy into the Digital Archives of the International African American Museum where generations to come will find you and your family’s stories and artifacts. 


Register Your Family to Participate in this Extraordinary Community Event

REGISTRATION IS FREE & REQUIRED


We invite your family to give a 15-minute oral interview to the staff of IAAM and to bring documents detailing the lives and history of people and places in Historic Lincolnville. The staff of IAAM will digitize and help you preserve your family documents (up to 10 items per person). Bring your family’s:
